Planning for the Inaugural Lake Anna Wine Festival has changed in order to help promote event for the Louisa  Education Foundation

The Lake Anna Wine Festival, previously announced for this September, has been moved to September 21, 2013.  We appreciate everyone who has put out so much effort to acquire wineries, sponsors, and vendors to participate.  Any fees we have received will be returned (or held until the new date, if the individual prefers). In light of the Alan Jackson concert coming to the Lake Anna area and the continued efforts to raise money for the Louisa County Schools, we felt it best to not divide our efforts, but to pitch in and get involved with this unique opportunity.  We will  keep the same committee heads and get a jump start on the event for 2013.

We are working with representatives from Capitol Records to help promote and support the cause to help rebuild our community.  The outpouring of support for this festival has been very encouraging and we look forward to making a very special event for the Lake Anna area in 2013.  Stay tuned to lakeannawinefestival.com for updates and for sponsorship opportunities for the 1st Annual Lake Anna Wine Festival. Committee meetings will be held regularly leading up to the event, so if you’d like to participate or volunteer, please feel free to e-mail info@lakeannawinefestival.com.

Current Lake Anna Wine Festival committees include Vendors, Wineries, Sponsors, Event Setup & Layout, and more.  In addition to committee planning, we will also need volunteers to help execute the event next September.  If you are interested in becoming involved, we would love to have you participate.
