Nestled along the railroad in Mineral, tavern on the Rail is a rustic retreat with an endearing old-fashioned décor.  The kitchen at Tavern offers classic favorites, such as premium steak and seafood, along with impressive homemade sauces.  The menu also contains lighter fare including deluxe sandwiches and homemade desserts.  The lower level boasts  a full bar and tables that lead to the outdoor patio, suitable for dining during great weather.  Tavern owners Melody and Ken Bowers have recently expanded their main dining room and have created one-of-a-kind dining experience just minutes from Lake Anna.

Enjoy Fresh seafood that you can pick up and take home or enjoy at their new lakeside retreat on Route 208.  Chicken Neckers offers catering for special events.  For the ultimate in fresh seafood at the lake, Chicken Neckers offers steamed Blue Crabs by the dozen (half and full bushel), sweet Snow Crab legs,  steamed New England lobster tails, steamed shrimp, mussels, clams, and oysters, steamed ‘in the shuck’ crabby corn on the cob, and Chicken Neckers signature coleslaw and freshly made potato salad.

The Anna Cabana is a wonderful restaurant with a large waterfront dining deck and spectacular panoramic water views.  Twenty boat slips make parking by boat quick & easy.  The dining area has a fun tropical atmosphere where you can choose from seafood, steaks, sandwiches, and burgers.  One customer favorite of the Anna Cabana are their crab cakes made with jumbo lump crab meat.
